Command Master Chief, II Marine Expeditionary Force
Command Master Chief (FMF) Christopher Rebana

Command Master Chief Rebana, enlisted in the United States Navy in April 1994 from San Diego, CA.  Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL he reported to Hospital Corpsman “A” School in Great Lakes, IL.

 

Sea duty assignments include 3d Battalion 7th Marines 29 Palms, CA; 3d Battalion 6th Marines, 6th Marine Regiment, and Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division Camp Lejeune, NC; 3d Medical Battalion Okinawa, Japan; 2d Marine Logistics Group Camp Lejeune, NC.

 

Shore assignments include Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL; Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL; Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, NC; Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA.

 

Operational deployments include Okinawa, Japan under the Unit Deployment Program (UDP); 3d Battalion 6th Marines, Al Qaim, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) III; 3d Battalion 6th Marines, Habbaniyah, Iraq in support of OIF 06-08; Regimental Combat Team-6, Ramadi, Iraq in support of OIF 09.1. 

 

Command Master Chief Rebana is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 161, Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course Class 132, Keystone Course, and is Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare qualified.  He has served in various leadership billets and as the Command Master Chief of 3d Medical Battalion, 2d Marine Logistics Group, and 2d Marine Division. 

 

His decorations include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards), Combat Action Ribbon, and various unit awards.
