Foster, 21, a satellite communications technician with 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade and Cincinnati, Ohio, native, conducts a pin test on the AN/TSC-156C Phoenix Satellite System, March 31, 2014. The pin test is a procedure to troubleshoot connection problems in order to ensure continuous communication service. Marines and sailors of 2nd MEB are currently participating in Exercise African Lion 14, which is an annually scheduled, multi-lateral and combined-joint exercise between the Kingdom of Morocco, the U.S. and other partner nations, and is designed to strengthen relationships in the region by increasing understanding of each nation’s military capabilities.
